Our Story

Wholesale Frame Company was founded more than 20 years ago
by George Aresco with a simple goal: to provide professional artists with a reliable source for quality picture frames.

What began as a small family frame shop has grown into a nationwide supplier serving artists and galleries across the continental United States. Although the business has grown, our priorities have remained the same: consistent quality, dependable service, fair pricing, and personal support.

Today, George is joined by his sons, Jeff and Dan, and Dan’s
wife, Janisha. Each family member has a different role in keeping orders moving smoothly and making sure our customers receive the service they expect.

George opened Wholesale Frame Company in 2005 and brings decades of custom framing knowledge and experience to the shop.

Jeff Aresco – Frame Wizard

Jeff is the man behind the curtain, overseeing frame production and quality control. With more than 20,000 hours of experience perfecting his craft, Jeff has far surpassed the title of master. His skill borders on sorcery, producing superior-quality frames from even the least cooperative materials.

Janisha Aresco - Ringleader

Janisha coordinates daily operations, order processing, customer service, bookkeeping, and website updates. She keeps communication clear, orders on schedule, and the rest of us pointed in the right direction.

Dan Aresco – General Manager

Dan manages the business, works with customers and suppliers, and oversees pricing, product development, and the continued health of the company.

Free shipping

All standard frame orders ship free within the continental United States. Oversize and volume orders may have additional shipping charges.

Frame hardware & supplies

We carry a variety of frame hardware, including hangers, offset clips, picture wire, and other basic framing supplies.

Custom sizes

Our frames are cut to order, and there is no additional custom-size fee. Pricing is based on the dimensions of the finished frame.

Free corner samples

Online customers can order up to six free 6-inch corner samples to see our frames in person before making a selection.

Technical support

Get direct access to decades of framing experience. We are happy to answer practical questions about sizing, rabbet depth, installation, materials, and shipping.

Volume pricing

Volume discounts start at 10% off six or more of the same frame and size.

Local customers are welcome to visit the design counter in our Meriden showroom. We will work with you to select the design and materials best suited to your artwork.

Frame components & supplies

Matboard, glass, spacers, acrylic, foam core, Gatorboard, and other framing materials are available for local pickup.

Ready made frames

Ready made frames

Our showroom is stocked with factory seconds, clearance frames, and discontinued ready-made frames at discounts of 20% to 50%.
